No apologies needed! Thanks for getting back to me. My husband says he's confident that he can do the testing. He demonstrated that he's good at giving insulin injections back when Smudge needed them. I've been reading up on the various lancet sizes and BG monitors. Our vet said a vet tech will guide us through the first test. I hope we caught it early enough this time that we can avoid another crisis. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Jennie

Ai noes it am teh Fanksgibbon weekend adn awl, but was hoapin when yu gets a moment yu cud ansir a kwestshun for me. *lolspeek off* It looks like Smudge's diabetes is coming out of remission. Do you have any experience with home monitoring of blood glucose? If so, did you like a particular brand of monitor, test strips & lancets? Any advice you have would be appreciated. Fanks.
