Sorry about the cypress tree. Late Autumn is the best time to move a seedling. Did you get a cypress knee? Oh, I wish I had known you were visiting. We could have gotten together for lunch and some sightseeing. The seeds you got are from the American yellow lotus. The Chickasaws ground the seeds (yanquapin) to make flour. I've never eaten any bread made from them, but others have and say it has a nutty flavor. Good luck with your little cypress. guess who had ridin' through Reelfoot Lake area for, four days a couple weeks ago... Sooo Beautiful... Found & watched a Mated pair of Eagles Takin' care of the youngin's... Awesome !!! Brought home some Lily Pad seeds & a baby dug up Cypress... Wish me luck on that one... Hope all is well in your world... Keep 'em wiff a Smile...

Ooops, I forgot. I am sooooo ready for Spring! It was very nice here today even though it was cool. We're supposed to have rain tomorrow and then back to cold the rest of the week. Hold on, my friend, it's coming. My Gran used to say if we had an early Easter we'd have a late Spring. Easter is March 31 this year.
