Ohai! Thanks, I am doing well and hope all is well by you. My indoor cats (except for the mutant, who loves heat the most) are loving the AC and the outdoor cats hide all day long because of the heat and poor air quality. I guess I must be glad that the back of my lot is a bit untidy; the mother cats and kits who moved there use the foliage for cover. Unfortunately, we are well into kitten season and only one rescue organization got a grant recently - hardly any TNR going on in my area. The nearest shelter won't help us because we live in the country outside the town where the shelter is located.

Oh, ai thot a mitey lot of Miz Lil Apache, dat is a fact, Miz Luvmy8catz. She shor had a wae uv expressin' wif pikchurs dat ai jes' doan hav. Wisht ai cud hav maed sumfin' heer liek whut she did, jes' fer her, tho. Reckon it's dubble sad her mother lost a daughter, cuz parents nebber figger on buryin' sons and daughters. It's gonna taek meh a while to let it sink in dat she's gone to her reward. Glad Collard iz doin' gud, an' ain't yew glad yew kept dat lil hoss? Sumtiem afore dem gully warshers happened, sumbuddy gave meh a big ol' hutch fer outsied kittehs! Wurks reel gud - no kittehs had to leave mah plaes on account of water, and nao dem kittehs live in and under dat hutch. We fixed it up wif a tarp, and hung sum warshrags over der doors so's no wind gits insied.

Ai shor did, an' der outsied kittehs had a feast, tu. Beleeb it or nawt, ai still got sum cleanin' up to do after dem floods we had from July clear on intu September, so ai ain't bin heer much.
