No I haven't an I probably should. Most tutorials you'll find involve Photoshop CS5 & CS6 but for simply converting youtube videos into gif format a website like www.gifsoup.com or benderconverter.com actually does a pretty good job and there is a alot you can do in terms of editing using www.blibs.com/editor including: cropping off the logos, adding text, borders and painting silly mustaches on people, etc ... Getting gifs to loop can be a bit of a trick. Sometimes you can get away with using the reverse effect to provide the appearance of a nice seamless loop and other times trial and error will work ... That's something I haven't quite mastered myself yet
