There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a Geek, but I think my parents were hoping I'd turn out to be one of the "popular" girls. However, I think they came around when they realized I was a lot happier and with much better friends than run in the "cool" crowd. (Less drama, no fights, no heavy drinking...) As a supply teacher, I think it brightens the lives of young geeks to see that someone can live openly with their geekiness and be content with their lives. Have a great day!

Yes, I am Christian, but not in compliance with what I have known was God's will in my life since before I was your age and I am now 54. Not that I am living in a sinful way, I am simply concompliant with reading the word of God and praying on a daily basis. Even though I believe, I am living a mostly secular life. The songs that come to me are God's way of calling me back to a closer relationship with Him.

I write many Christian songs, but they cannot be construed as belonging to only one genre. Nor did I create them after listening to other Christian songs, so they are not in any way what you might call derivative. I suppose my music may be a synthesis of styles of music I've heard on the radio and sung in choirs for years.
