go to a spa! go to the nearest one! it was just excellent. i still feel relaxed 36 hours later. i highly recommend it. i suppose clay would be easy to get out of the carpet. just let it dry. residual cat barf, now that's another story. i need to rent a carpet shampooer one of these days... have a good evening =^..^=

finally online // such a nutty busy week // freedom tomorrow!// there is my haiku for the day. how are you? how are the flowers coming along? i've been counting down the days until friday, my day off and trip to the spa. consequently, it's been a busier than usual week so that i don't have any residual guilt! =^..^=

Top 'o the mornin' to you, too!! In the Irish way, with a hint of brogue, of carse: May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be always at your back and may you be in heaven an hour before the devil knows that you're gone!!!!!

i have mostly eastern exposure, which means less than ideal light for plants, but i still have a sizeable population of house plants...which miraculously the kitties don't show much interest in. how was your weekend?

The L'Amour book I read was one of the early Sackett ones, but I don't remember the title. Maybe I should give him another try. Then again, perhaps I'll just stick to my non-fiction! LOL

i had no idea that a hoya could produce flowers. i have two (and they are big ones with vines that climb to the ceiling) and they have never ever bloomed. maybe the light isn't right...what sort of light do you give yours? i finally made the biscotti this evening. nom! most will be a belated birthday gift for my friend. i feel badly for forgetting it... how are you? =^..^=

I've only read one L'Amour book and found it boring. I didn't notice sentences starting with 'for' but maybe that was the reason I didn't care for it! Yes, Dickens is classic - love his work!!
