That is so awesome that she's copying you! :) How super cute!!! Hermes copied my the other day but I was stretching before I hit the gym... he saw what I was doing while he was laying on the floor and was like "Meow!!" Then he started stretching too and showing off. :)

Hahaha Saki sounds so adorable and funny! Wonder why she's eating her food the same way she stole her mom's! Glad to hear you lovely ladies had a great quiet weekend. Mine was busy but full of mostly fun things like checking out the King's Speech as well as Avenue Q. :)

Hahaha Princess sounds like our foster cat when it comes to claw clipping! You'd think we were torturing him... and both my bf and I have to gear up beforehand in heavy clothing and gloves. :P I love how much Princess lives up to her name, all dainty and demanding. :) Athena (the fluffly white and calico cat) has a rather harsh sounding meow but doesn't use it much. Hermes (the black cat) has a variety of meows to use conversationally. He especially talks a lot if you poke your head out of a doorway and your body is in a room he isn't in- he gets so confused! Our foster cat is super cute but has a weird meow- kinda sounds like a little dinosaur! Saki sounds adorable... she loves your attention!! That's so funny how she talks back if you tell her no. Have a great weekend and stay dry!!

Aww sounds like you three make a nice family! That's great that you could help Saki and then Princess find a loving home with you! And Princess sounds she is well-named. ;) Does clipping her claws help at all with the kneading-with-claws? Cats are great to talk to... I talk to mine a good bit too. Hermes (the black cat) loves to sit in my lap when I'm on the phone... I think he thinks I'm talking to him for hours! :)

Aww yeah sometimes I could swear that cats can tell time! Hermes used to wake me up right around 3am every morning and would be super persistent! He's got a lot of the same techniques as Saki. :) He also will lick my face or any exposed skin. Your cats both sound so sweet! I love that Princess just wants to sleep on your head and doesn't care about getting you up. How long have you had each of them?

I had a great weekend- went over to AZ to visit my grandparents and had a good time. Glad to hear that Saki is learning about Caturdays and how those are for sleeping in! I know Hermes (my black cat) took a long time to learn that one. :P I was so happy when he finally started just sleeping on my head instead of bothering me!

O hai neighbor! :) My bf, my kittehs, and I are in Burbank- not far at all. Your kittehs are gorgeous! Love the pic of the 2 of them together on the counter. When I was a kid we had a kitteh named Sasha who looked a lot like the smaller of your kittehs- she was Himalayan/Siamese. Which kitteh is Princess and which is Saki? Hope you all are having a great week and keeping dry in this crazy weather!
