Here's an SOS. For the first time ever, no group in local cat rescue will answer my calls. Six cats need homes (one tuxie neuter, ten-year-old, more handsome than Henri, a nine-year-old blue polydactyl spay with 24 toes, one small nine-year-old blue spay with a face more "human" than most, one six-year-old blue tabby neuter, one adorable six-year old tortie spay who puffs her tail while purring, and a spectacularly marked polydactyl calico spay, also six years old). They are love-starved since their human died; his surviving relatives cannot afford to maintain them and believe it would be wrong to put the cats outside, so the cats are in danger of being euthanized. It looks like I can't afford them either. They are in Lancaster County, PA, in an area near the "left corner" of the county. I think my cat trap still works, so if someone can get the cats, they can take the trap, at least. There might be other things that I have that would be of use to your group. These are hand-raised housecats who need people and are not getting the attention they need. I don't know what else to do since adding them to my colony is not an option.
