By the way, I take some Omega-3 fish oil and that is supposed to help joint pain. Fish oil is a really safe product and probably wouldn't interfere with yur meds.__ For Easter a friend of mine made some turkey dinners for me, which was really nice of her. I had one of teh turkey dinners today, and it was great! Did yu have some tasty noms for Easter?__ The weather here in Wiskonsin is getting warmer az it's the start of Spring. There still ar no leaves on the trees, but I think in 2 or 3 weeks the trees will start to show buds that will soon turn into real leaves! I still have to wear a jacket or maybe a hoodie. What's the wether like for yu Aussies? Iz it getting cold agin, which iz good weather for those wunderful wheat bags.__ Covid restrictions ar pretty mcuh all gone in teh US, and only at medical places is a mask rekwired. I've ben fortchunate and never got that covid bug. But my sister recently had a very mild case, while my yunger brother had a wurse case that lasted 5 weeks. But he didn't hav to go into teh hospital, and he is fine now. I also hav an older brother who also didn't get covid. It seem like teh longer covid stays around, the weaker teh variants get. That's a good thing. It's mor like teh flu now.__ Anyways, I hope yu ar doing well and yu ar staying healthy. Is yur anemia getting better? I did hav that when I was much yunger, but it seemed to go away on it's own. I hope yur anemia also goes away. And I hope Nellie is healthy and gives yu lots of head bonks and lays in yur lap. Merry Christmas to you raekathy and your sweet Nellie! I hope you had som bery tasty Christmassy foods to eat. Is Nellie doing okay now wiff her teef? I shure hope so. I've had problems wiff mai teef in teh past and it's no fun at all. And I hope yu ar feeling okay too. Here in Wiskonsin we just ar finishing up wiff a big Winter storm where we got som snows but it waz bery cold. It got to be -8 degrees F wiff strong winds. burrrr! Dat's too cold. But it's starting to warm up. It got up to about 12 degrees today, but it waz still windy tho nawt so strong. Are yu having some nise warm wethers? That should help wiff yur arthritis. Ar there any supplements yu can take to help wiff teh arthritis? Maybe somthing like fish oil (omega-3), turmeric, glucosamine and chondroitin. I take som supplements dat help wiff pain in teh knees. Hi there, raekathy.. It's also very good to hear bak from yu. That's wunnerful that Aussieland duz indeed sillybrate Halloween. Dat's a fun holiday wiff all teh kostumes and candies and skary stuff for teh kids. Did yu get any trick or treaters dat came to yur place?__ That's a shame that yur sweet Nellie has had som health problems. If the vet gave Nellie those dental treets, then teh vet shood hav been well aware dat dey had lots of calcium in them dat could cause a problem. And then to follow dat up wiff teeth problems for Nellie is also unfortunate. My whole family has had problems wiff our teeth, so I know how distressing dat is. But I hope Nellie fully recovers from evrything and gets bak in great helth!__ And I also hope dat yu get yur iron bak up to the proper level. Can't yur doctor just giv yu som kind of supplement to fix teh problem or maybe eat som foods wiff hi iron content? Dat's what I'd try first. And that arthritis can sertainly act up in wethers dat ar cold or wet. Maybe a warmed up wheat bag would fix that! Nellie would also appreshiate a warm wheat bag.. I'd like dat myself! Hello der, raekathy.. and a Happy Halloween to yu too! We just had Halloween yesterday in teh States. And teh kids went owt trick or treating in der kostooms, which waz real cute. And dere parents go wiff dem to make shure dey iz safe from teh monsters. Do yu guys in Awstralia hav Halloween too? I hope so, cuz it's a lot of fun for teh kids and older peeps too. And dere are lots of skary movies on teh TV.__ It's been starting to get colder here teh last month or so. And in anuther month and a half we'll hav our Winter time, which iz real cold. BURRR! Ar yu guys getting som warm wether now?__ I hope dat yu and yur sweet Nellie ar boff doing well and feeling okay. Ar yu getting over dat low iron problems dat yu gotted erlier? I hope so. It's no good to hav that tiredness.__ The covid iz still hanging arownd in teh US, but no mor lockdowns cuz peeple don't want it anymor. Dat's wunnerful dat yu had tasty noms for yur Easter -- including choklates! I hope dat Nellie gotted som tasty foods too for her belly. She sertanly deserves dat. Now dat yu ar into Autumms, duz that mean yu guys ar owt of yur fire seeson? I havn't heard at all abowt any mor bad fires in Aussieland like yu guys had a yeer or 2 ago, which waz reel bad. I'll keep mai fingers krossed dat yu don't get any mor of dat firey stuff.__ That's great dat yur fambly iz all well for those who had gotted teh covid bug. Now dey got lots of protecktshons against any nu strains of dat bug. An' of corse peeps dat gotted der bug shot also hav lots of good protecktshons too, espeshally aginst getting too sick. So we'll all keep our fingers krossed dat we remain helthy.__ That's too bad dat yu got low irons. Dey call dat anemia an' when I waz lots yunger I had anemia too, but I seemed to hav gotten over it. Can't teh doktors giv yu an iron supplements to make yu all better agin? I hope it gets fixed real soon an' dat yu hav yur enerjies bak again. I'm shure yu herd abowt teh Freedom Convoy in Canada an' also in yur neighbor Nu Zeeland, where peeples protested all teh restricktshons by teh govt bekawse of dat stoopy covid. I just herd on teh BBC Newz dat after 2 yeers, Awstralya iz now thowing open its borders to teh rest of teh wurld! Dat iz a surprize to me. I hope all goes well wiff dat. I guess dat peeps who hav all der bug shots can now bisit teh Land down Unders an' dey don't hav to kwaranteen. I bet lots of peeps ar happy abowt dat. I guess dat means dat Awstralya iz eggsperiensing lower coviddy case. I hope dat iz true. Here in teh US, owr covid cases wiff teh omicron gotted to be bery hi, but dey hav com down a lot. Here in wiskonsin wher I livs, we also got hit hard by teh omicron, wiff a 29.5% positvity rate. But now it's gon down to 7%, but dat iz still too hi, tho it iz still on teh decline. I guess der will now be lots mor tourism to Awstalia. I think dat Melborn will be hi on teh list of plases to go see. I myself wood like to see Melborn. From teh picktshures I've seen, yur city appeers to be a beautiful plase to bisit, an' also to be lucky enuff to liv der.
