Sorry for the mess-up w'last message! You were so kind I wanted to let you know we adopted another kitteh Saturday. A friend rescued him as a stray but already had 3 cats and a dog so we took Wally in . He is still very shy but we are making progress. A beautiful kitteh!

Thanks karlkat. I was actually just coming to tell you! It's something. They couldn't give her more as her prior record is clean. If she does "anything" again, she will face a more severe punishment. Know, though, that the monster is pregnant again, and will have to give birth in jail. As someone said, "It will be a long time before she experiences anything like a happy moment, again." I heard that the judge was annoyed that more people had appeared to express their outrage, than to the murder case of a 92 year old which was also taking place at the time. While he of course has a point, I continue to commend every single person who becomes a "voice of the voiceless", and pray that not one of them ever backs down!!! *hugs*

Karlkat, you are so much more than welcome for Marielle's candle. I always feel that they are such a small thing, in light of such a great loss. But I know in my heart that they see them. For Dexter, I agree with you that that @!$£%$ should get the maximum for her crimes. Somehow, I don't think that my heart would feel that any punishment was enough, but the fact that she has been officially labelled "Guilty", at least, to me, shows that someone cares and that maybe, someday, the punishment "will" be enough. Please, I hope you don't feel that I am in any way thinking less of Marielle's passing by lighting her candle next week. I "have" to do one at a time. I hope you understand. x

H karlkat. Don't EVER think that you are bothering me, my friend! I'm always happy to help if I can. Unfortunately, the latest on little Dexter and Gabe's killer is that the trial has been postponed - again. Until July now. Apparently, the court has another "more pressing" trial which has to take priority. The new date will hopefully be announced within the week. I'll keep a look out. xxx

Ohai, karlkat! After a bit of digging, I just found out that there is finally going to be a pre-trial hearing on June 7th. Apparently, unless a deal is made, the trial will be held on June 11th. Here's hoping we'll finally see some justice! Thanks for your kind words about the candles. *hugs* xxx

Heheh! Thanks, karlkat! The cheezlords have put my last two ICHC Fps onto the new Lolcats page, so I got real lucky. The "choices" one tho, was pretty old, and as I recall it didn't really do that well on the VPs - so they really must have been "digging around" for stuff. :D x

There's definitely no telling what people will find funny. With me, it's been the ones that I've just sort of "thrown out there" randomly, that have done well. Anything that i've spent more than 30 seconds on, or felt really proud of, has been mostly ignored! "Peoples is peoples" as someone said. :D xxx
