I saw what you did to get that horrid pic removed - great job! We can't condone doing mean things to animals just for the sake of a photo. Hopefully if they realize it won't be tolerated here, they'll think twice before doing anything like that again! *hugs*

Hi shadowcatwalker! I'm glad too! The one thing we all share here is our love for our Furfriends! I should have told you how sorry I am for your own loss of Biscuit. He sounds like such a sweetie! I'm sure the people who adopted him wouldn't have done so if they knew that he already had a loving home! My Lola moved in with us from across the street. (you can find a short version of her story in my Lolz). We didn't encourage her to stay - we never fed her before she became "ours". But we did know she wasn't "happy" at her home. We already had to watch them ignore their goggie day in, day out on the porch. Poor thing is lucky if she gets taken for a walk once a week! So we were happy to give Lola "fuss", but we would never have considered her ours until the day the girl decided to let her go. Her actual words to me were "I don't want to keep paying for food for a cat that never comes home! So will you just take her?" I was pretty appauled at her lack of caring - but not surprised. So Lola stayed with us, and she is "worshiped accordingly"! *LOL* :D xxx

Hi shadowcatwalker! It's nice to meet you! I saw your very sweet comment on my poem. I just left you a reply. I really don't think my little man would have willingly gone to anyone else. He was NOT a "people" cat (or a "cat" cat for that matter). He was an amazingly swift "drawer of blood" when any but me tried to touch him! That's why people were so shocked the day he decided to jump into my lap and go sleep - no one else could get near him, even the people who were looking after him when he was found! It's a nice idea - but alas, I don't think so. xxx
