Sad News about Tookat Charlene Nathara Slimp shared a link to the group: A Solitary Witch. 2 hrs · We have just received word through Kate "Tookie"'s sister, that Tookie has been moved to hospice care as of Saturday. She is intermittantly responsive and can sometimes recognize people and sometimes cannot, and, though she was able to hold a sippy cup on her own the other day, she is not eating. The overall feeling is that she is very close to her transition now and she is in the place she needs to be to make that as easy and painless as possible. Her family is taking care of her and in contact with us and we will keep everyone updated as things progress. There are no restrictions on what you may send her at this time and we've included the address information below. Please be considerate, though, of her family, the staff, and environment she is in. Please hold her in your hearts for a smooth and painless transition. There are no words to describe Tookie, her teachings, or her role in this group, or the special care she took with each of us. She has been seriously ill and in steady decline for many years, so while this is not surprising, it is also not easy. We are not sad for Tookie, for she has always been close to spirit - but we are sad for our loss of her here with us. Gifts may be sent to: Kathy Rogers c/o The Residence of Arbor Hospice 440 W. That's true. LilAPC would have sent you birthday greetings but she is off on a 10 camping trip. I am sure she will hate to find out she missed it

Its true. I found out later that people did notice me...just not the people I wanted to.....and the one's who did, were mostly too shy to tell me. I didn't have a boyfriend and was lucky when I had something to do on the weekend as a teen. In high school, that gradually changed, but I still had times of loneliness in college and afterward. I finally figured out several things though. If I stopped wishing people would see me, more really stopped caring whether they would or wouldn't....that they noticed me more.....and, that to have friends, one has to be a friend.

whoo! look at that kick ass profile picture! Thanks for the birthday greetings. I got so many, that I feel quite overwhelmed and full of love from all my friends. To think, I used to believe I was the kid, that no one noticed.

Your sadness is because you will never see him again and the memories will stop. It's hard to face that, and I don't think that's feeling sorry for yourself. It's natural for a child to feel that way. The real question is how long it takes to become you again. It can't take too long or you get lost in it. What am I talking about? You know so much more than I do so just accept that as a loving idiot trying to soothe your hurt

You can be so silly at times and it makes you both unique and adorable. It's 10/28/47. One thing you can be sure of, I will never come to you and ask you to change the weather. I am fine. It was wide off the coast so we got very high winds and tons of rain, but nothing too scary. I haven't seen the beach yet though. My trigeminal is trigeminalling and that's all I am going to say about that!

I will get in touch with Winnie today. It's much too early for her there, I guess, so I will wait awhile and try. I am so sorry you are feelings such disturbances and worry for others. We feel the same about you. I will let you know after I speak with Winnie. Bless you for including me in your sing. I feel like good things are in my future and it is because of the good friends I have.
