Ohai . FORM LETTER FOLLOWS: For five-plus years I have not added friends and I know I will regret changing course for all the reasons I've given in the past, but here goes: welcome. Of the 160 pending requests I had as of 24 July, I'm going to add a few. People who are still around (or are sentimental old-time favorites), who I like, or at least don't irritate me *too* much. ;-) PLEASE do not inundate me with messages or I will start ignoring all but my original friends. (I don't know how to type, which makes it worse.) There aren't enough hours in the day and by now I think I owe time.

Yesterday when the news broke everybody was very upset. I find it very hard to face the fact that this can happn to someone as joyous and energetic as Sylvia . As for a memorial day for KKPS: lemme think on that,please. I don't honestly think I can make myself formally announce something like that. A memorial day may happen more or less spontaneously anyway.
