Hello new cheezfriend! Is you profile pik from a book illustration? I miss illustrations. They just aren't being put in as much as they used to except of course for the children's books. I love that old black and white print art. Years ago I had ordered an illustrated version of the Black Stallion. The only pik was the cover painting! I returned it and found an old library copy online that had the original drawings. Your profile makes me think of one good reason hairless cats are bred. LOL! God Bless!
Glorified stick waving? Heh, I admit this has occurred to me, but I know it is not really the case. You will of course remember Bugs Bunny conducting an orchestra. One of my all time favorite cartoons. :)
Wow. You conducted an orchestra at the Sydney Opera House? Damn... my congratulations. I write a lot of classical music, though my profession is commercial music (recording, songwriting, singing etc). though when I say profession, understand that to mean that I still have to supplement the ole' income from such sources as a little private teaching, and the odd casual job also. Where did you learn to be a conductor. From what I understand, it's certainly not something anyone can do. I've been studying music for a long time, and it's sure not something i could do. :)
