Communication is difficult, and if we're being honest, the English language is particularly guilty of making no sense. We have a million little phrases and idioms that wouldn't make any sense unless you're a native English speaker, which can make learning the language uniquely difficult. For example, why do we call drunk people "three sheets to the wind"? Why is that a thing? To be honest, I love all of the different slang that comes from the English language. I wish I had more of a regional dialect and accent, but I just don't. I have a generic news anchor voice, so I have to steal slang from other people to make my vocabulary more interesting. It's truly a pathological hobby if I'm being honest. If you can read English and are aware of its nuances and absolutely illogical quirks, you'll probably appreciate this batch of memes, tweets, and posts.
