Every person who owns a cat knows that they are an incredibly affectionate animal. They just get a bad rep for some reason with others. People do not understand the ways in which they show love, but that doesn't mean that they don't do it. And Cheezburger users, animal lovers like us, know that better than most.
So, when our awesome users share their stories on Facebook and make our hearts flutter with love, we only think it's right to share their stories with everyone else as well. And if you're one of our users and have a story worth telling of your own, come talk to us in our Facebook community: ICanHas Storytime.
My cat is similar to yours. Though she doesn't come awwdorably boop my nose when I'm sick, whenever I have stomach pains, she does come over to me and curl up next to my belly, purring and providing the comfort that I never realize I need.
When cats love, they love hard, and it's the best feeling in the world.
It's not a great feeling, we understand, knowing that you caused your pet pain, but in this situation, it wasn't something that was avoidable. Their couldn't hide their worry over you the same way that you couldn't hide your worry over your dad. It may not be a positive thing to hurt them in such an unintentional way, but at least you know now just how much your fluffballs love you.
Like we said, when cats love someone, they love them intensely hard. They are independent and unattached, but when they do get attached, they become the most loving and loyal animal ever. This kind of treatment is proof of how much they care, and we think it's something to really, really appreciated.
