Sex-ed might actually be one of the most important courses we take in our adolescent lives. Sure, math can be useful, but we have calculators. History is also useful, but we have google and our grandparents who will always be willing to share their experiences from the 'good ole days.' But sex-ed? Other than medical professionals, you can not get a substitute. It's crucial information. For many of us, it was extremely irrelevant at the time. Not everyone was interested in doing the dirty at the age of 15, but some of us were, and it's much better to get a summary of what to expect sooner rather than later.
Even with our sex-ed experiences, a lot of us still have a lot of questions and misconceptions that have followed us into our adult lives. On Reddit, people are sharing some common lies they've seen spread around a bit too much.
