"I was asked multiple times to give some information about how I built it.
So here we go. Actually it's not that much work involved.
As you see above, my little space has a wall on the boundary. As I rent, I can not drill in there. Basically I used two boards, three aluminium profiles the cat net and some attachment material."

"The aluminium profiles are 2m in length, this is to raise the area above the fence height so that I can comfortably stand there. They are attached to the fence with (strong) zip ties."

"At the top i drilled in 6mm holes and fixed a hook in there. On the back side there is a nut holding it."

"Inside the hooks I put this guide rope. This is woven through the net at the appropriate height. It goes around once completely. (More on that, later)"

"At the other end there is a small space where no fence or wall is. I fixed anther shorter profile here, on the right side with a zip tie and on the left with a screw through the board."

"Not that good lighting here, but that is the screw. It's fixed to the board with multiple nuts."

"The board itself is fixed with these small metal strips. The screw is fixed to the board with nuts and to the metal strips as well."

"The side boards are a no drill zone again. I used these clamps (designed for putting lamps somewhere). They are aluminium casts. The net is wiggled around this and the guide rope mentioned before is affixed to the top ones as well."

"Detail of near the wall. the guide rope is coming in from the left. This part might be improved in the future, if the cats start trying to test this."

"From the guide rope, the net goes upward to the upper balcony. Here it was a little tricky. Some fixing the net to the pole thingies there in combination with another woven in guide rope."

"Finally, the bottom is also fixed with (small) zip ties so that the cats can not wiggle in there. The fence wish actually tight enough so they don't fit through, so theoretically I could have used less net here."
