Millie the ‘Noodle Horse,’ a Rescued Racing Greyhound, Gets a Backyard for the First Time and Has the Most Heartwarming Reaction

Greyhounds have been used and abused for their speed for many decades now. Too often do these poor sweet creatures not make it out alive of their racing careers. So there are many organizations who rescue these babies and/or help them retire. One lanky pouch who made it out of the toxic betting dog grounds is a lanky red Brindgle one who is now known as Millie the Noodle Horse. 

The sweet long bean has gone viral on social media for her epic transformation from being a scared timid baby into a dog living their best life.

Millie's mom says she was 23 when she adopted Millie and her heart broke when she first got her. The majestic dog was completely broken, afraid of almost anything. She would refuse to go near her for pets and even hated stairs. But Millie's mom never gave up and was patient with the healing heart of this pup. Eventually, Millie started to feel comfortable and then her silly personality started to shine. Now she loves to play, cuddle with her mom, and even stir up some chaos with her pug sibling. 

Millie, her mom, and her pug sibling lived in an apartment, until recently, when her mom was able to move into a home with a beautiful backyard. She was specifically looking for a home with a yard so her sweet Millie could get her well-deserved zoomies out. When she brought the dog to the yard, Millie looked upon her new territory like a Miss Universe contest winner in disbelief that she has just won the crown. 

Millie loves to run around as fast as she can in her yard. She surely is queen of the castle there. She rolls around in the grass, plays with her pug sibling, and even takes long naps in the grass with the sun shinning down on her. Perhaps I'm anthropomorphizing too much, but I imagine Millie lays there beaming with such appreciation knowing she made it out of the horrible dog racing world and even has a loving human who is obsessed with her. She might not know that she is internet famous, but she sure knows how to strike some epic angles!
