We love cats. Okay? We love all cats, we're mildly obsessed with them, and we wanna know literally everything about all of them. And listen, in our research, we have discovered that while everyone is so focused on house cats and big cats, there are so many criminally underrated small wild cats. So many of them. Seriously. Have you seen the grumpy yet adorable Pallas' cats? Have you experienced the joy of discovering the tiny but lethal black-footed cat? And what about the last king of Scotland - also known as the rare and beautiful Scottish Wildcat?
There are so many things to learn about cats and cats to learn about, and today, we - alongside twitter - have discovered a new cat. The Lykoi Cat - also known as the wolf-cat or the werewolf-cat.
Is it honestly amazing that such a cool mutation can happen in nature naturally. There are so many awful breeding practices that people do to try to force these kinds of things to happen, but see? They're completely unnecessary. Just let nature do its thing. It always comes up with something new and interesting for us to discover.
Is it bad that our first reaction to this photo is that we wanna pet this cat? Is our self-preservation instinct really that awful? The answer is yes. If it's a cat, then yes, we wan to pet it - no matter the cat, no matter the situation. We may need help.
