AITA: 'She's not your cat!' : Woman lets boyfriend's crying cat outside despite his instructions, he kicks her out and the internet erupts in chaos
As pet owners, we understand how overprotective people can be when it comes to their pets. Rightfully so, we might add, as it is in fact, their pets. They are the only ones who should be in charge of making decisions. One woman disregarded her boyfriend's clear instructions not to let his cat, Libby, out after she had come back injured one time. He was afraid that she would get hurt again. Obviously, Libby wasn't happy with her 'timeout', and longed for freedom, as cats do.
She meowed so much that the man's girlfriend took pity on her and let her outside… and although we can understand she meant well, it was not her decision to make. He was livid, and kicked her out, forbidding her from seeing his cat ever again. The woman took to the r/AITA subreddit to ask others what they thought. Was she so wrong? The internet went ballistic, and many scolded her for her inconsiderate behavior.
