We can't choose our family, and for some people that turns out to pretty unfortunate. Not everyone gets blessed with supportive parents, something which is always going to make a kid's life harder—unless they can turn it into content, of course.
One amateur chef on TikTok has recently been doing exactly this, cooking for mean mom and letting her heavily critique her food. She brought a twist in her latest video, buying a plain Burger King burger (her mom's favorite) and passing it off as her own cooking to see how she would react.
Predictably, the reaction she received was less than positive. It's no surprise that almost all viewers were horrified at the continuing criticism, not least because the mom was being served something she usually liked. If we're being real, it is unlikely that we will ever see a meal from her daughter that this lady has a kind word for.
