We all put up with neighbors to a certain extent. Loud music once in a while is understandable, but every single night until the wee hours of the morning? Well, @westsidepoochie posted a TikTok in which he takes out his pent-up frustration on a loud neighbor by blasting some annoying audio at the wall dividing their apartments. What started off as simple petty revenge turned into a full-on saga.
In a follow-up TikTok video, @westsidepoochie explains how the battle began. "We moved into this really nice luxury apartment like March 2021. Our lease is about to be over, we're about to move. Throughout this time living here, we have had like several nights that we couldn't sleep. There's just been someone blasting music…she didn't stop. She kept doing it." He continues to explain how he and his fiancé tried everything—they called security and made noise complaints, they even talked to her about it in person several times, but the music never stopped. It got to the point where they had to move their entire bed into the living room just to get some sleep.
In the same video, @westsidepoochie's fiancé chimes in and says "at this point, because it's been almost a year, there's nothing else to do except take retaliation…like obviously it worked because she didn't blast music the next day."
Empowered by their petty revenge and knowing that they were going to move soon anyway, the couple stepped up their game in the neighbor war.
At first, @westsidepoochie pressed a modest portable speaker against the wall and used a massage gun to get back at his loud neighbor for keeping him up all night. @westsidepoochie played the infamously obnoxious song “Big Enough” by Kirin J Callinan for eight hours straight.
The next day, @westsidepoochie continued blasting “Big Enough” while he was out. He claims that at that point his neighbor called security, but “they didn't care because they know how much of a bully and troublemaker she is.”
Mad with power, @westsidepoochie upgraded his revenge machine and pounded 10 hours of “Kazoo Kid” into the thin wall between him and his neighbor's homes.
People in the TikTok comments had a lot of annoying suggestions, like the “Krusty Krab Pizza Song.”
@westsidepoochie's last revenge video in the 10-part saga was posted on February 9th, which means there's a good chance he was blasting YouTube's most annoying videos on repeat for a whole month. Now that's some petty revenge.
