I liked him a lot too. I've only tried the first gen mlp movie. I wasn't overly impressed. Good to see that you tried them, it gives you a valid reason to have a real opinion on them.

Yeah really. To those who hate it, it is the same concept as MLP: Without the origins (Trilogies for star wars; Generation 1 and 3 for MLP) We would not have what we have today.

That depends on your definition of a "fan" I have seen both the original trilogies and liked them very much. I don't keep up with the news hype, or any other shows or spin offs. But, as a whole, I like the Star Wars universe.
