you never know. your bankai might be a combination of all of those and take up almost no energy at all. well, at first, no matter what, you'll barely be able to control your bankai. thats what happened to me but now I can control it.. *renji and kira come out all battered up*

my bankai and shikai are short range too. mostly, the become short range in daylight, when there aren't any shadows around. but, yes. I do want to know what the dragons are used for

my bankai is that my sword changes shape, it looks like rukia's only the blade is a little bit longer and a little bit thicker, and a lot sharper. The sword turns black, and my robes turn completely black. I can control the shadows with the sword, even in broad daylight

cool. my shikai is that my sword changes color and looks like a piece of the night sky. which tricks people, since it looks exactly the same except for the color. but I can shoot out black ropes from my sword and bind people with them
