if you have clouds then i have a thunderhead.

By torontokat on Oct 28, 2011 at 5:56 AM

DOH! Of course you did. Sometimes the stupid just clouds my head.

By Aragog on Oct 27, 2011 at 10:05 PM

i said it healed.

By torontokat on Oct 27, 2011 at 6:07 PM

Do they know how long it's going to take to heal, Aragog?

By Aragog on Oct 26, 2011 at 9:38 PM

yes, but many lunch foods need to have large bites taken out of them. i had to eat pizza sideways.

By torontokat on Oct 26, 2011 at 9:26 PM

I love chopsticks. Do they help you eat while things heal?

By Aragog on Oct 25, 2011 at 4:36 PM

i started bringing chopsticks to school.

That's awful! I wince just to think of it. I would have cried or yelled, from pain and shock. ... Once, I was working at an office with a glass door in it. The person walking in front of me was in a temper. She wasn't mad at me, but decided to be dramatic and slam that glass door. I was following so close behind her that if I'd been 2 inches closer my face would have gone right through the glass. People just don't think sometimes!!! ... Anyway, I'm glad it's healing. What a lousy, upsetting thing to happen. Enjoy your food, you deserve to!

i'm in the theater tech class, so we meet in the cafeteria. but the photography kids had a field trip to the zoo that day. so one of them thought he'd be funny and pass his hand in front of my face as we passed through the door. failing to take into account that we were passing through the door in opposite directions and at differing speeds. his hand went WHACK! right into my upper lip and my nose. the little flap of flesh that keeps the upper lip and the gums stuck together got torn, and that FINALLY healed together a couple of days ago. I can eat again!

OMG, reallly? What happened? Are you okay?

By Aragog on Oct 18, 2011 at 9:53 PM

i was clocked in the face today.

Not enough vowels ... drives you crazy, doesn't it. I play scrabble, and there are a few words without vowels at all .... pffft, for instance. But my favorite is "crwth." I've never even tried to find out what it means because I wanted to make up my own definition -- which is "the sound of bat wings in the air." When I was an actress, bats would sail out from the flies above the stage when they first hung the lights. The other actresses would usually shriek and run off the stage but I liked the bats. It wasn't as though they were going to run into me or anything. (Many old theaters have bats.)

not enough vowels, sad face =(

I'm not much good at them, Aragog, but I can try. I will check in here tomorrow (Saturday) to see what's up.

By Aragog on Sep 16, 2011 at 4:23 PM

can you help me anagram please?

By torontokat on Sep 16, 2011 at 9:34 AM

Widefin delivering mail! That's a greaet idea! I love the drawing too, Aragog ... I believe he can fly. Most drawings I see of winged fantastical creatures look too stiff to fly -- the lines in the drawing or so heavy. They look elaborate and impressive, but in my imagination I can't take off with them into the sky. They look too earthbound. l'm glad the W.B. Cafe might pop up sometime.

and i do intend to include Writer's Block Cafe as a joke in the dream world backgrounds when i get around to drawing the comic panels for the finished graphic novel versions of my books (i mean to do that once i've mastered the anatomy of clothes and the art within art: perspective) and i will include an anagram version in the waking worlds.

By Aragog on Sep 15, 2011 at 4:56 PM

i think my avatar is a dragon, i drew it. it's called a Widefin. they're a breed exclusively for delivering mail because of their extraordinary endurance.

Only you know what is good for you as a writer, Aragog, but I so love the idea of the Writers Block cafe .... I wonder if you will someday write about it! For instance, I wonder who the other writers who hang out there are. But as I say, only you know what is good for you, writing-wise. Your avator is a gryphon, am I right? I sometimes see them, "for real" or in photos, as gargoyles on old buildings. Adore them!

It's good that you know all writers get mental blocks. I have a friend who won't believe that. She seems to feel she is the only writer in history who sometimes can't write, even though she wants to .... so of course she feels like a failure, and is very miserable. I wish I could make her believe me that this happens to everyone who writes!

By Aragog on Sep 11, 2011 at 8:10 PM

He doesn't exactly help me write, but when i get tired i'll see him in our world and sometimes i'll speak out loud to him. but it's usually not when i'm out and about. but Bronze does help get rid of the bad thoughts running around in my realm.

By torontokat on Sep 11, 2011 at 2:02 PM

Does Bronze help you write, as opposed to an angel?

By Aragog on Sep 5, 2011 at 8:33 PM

the employees at Writer's Block like me because i come there so often. they usually remind me to go visit my nightmare, Bronze and talk to him. (everyone has their own nightmare, like a guardian. i think that most guardian angels are a type of nightmare called Dayze, others like mine are called Nites. Nites look more like demons and Dayze look more like angels. though i could be wrong)

I also hate coffee. I love the aroma, but no way will I drink that stuff! I will never understand how it caught on in the first place .... Sounds to me like Writer's Block Cafe is the place to go. Too many writers go to the Writer's Place of Self-Destruction. I know that when I have writer's block, I feel like I'm the the only writer in history who has ever had it. That's so not true.

By Aragog on Sep 3, 2011 at 4:25 PM

i discovered a place in the dream world called 'Writers Block' it's a cafe where stuck writers go in their sleep. i tend to get hyper on hot chocolate because my writer's block is really bad and i hate coffee.

By torontokat on Sep 3, 2011 at 12:57 PM

A dozen! You go, Aragog! I am impressed!

By Aragog on Sep 2, 2011 at 8:27 PM

i counted them, its twelve now.

By torontokat on Sep 2, 2011 at 8:24 PM

Hi Aragog: I love your new avatar! I am trying to write fiction too at the moment. My ideas go in all directions and it sure is confusing!

By Aragog on Aug 28, 2011 at 9:13 PM

... i lost count of the books i'm writing, but i'm sure it's more than ten now... =(

By Aragog on May 6, 2011 at 4:03 PM
