Hi again! Just was asked by another Cheezpeep if you know anyone in the Ironwood area, where his parents live. I don't know any UP Cheez friends who are Yoopers other than you.

Hi. Both of my parents are Yoopers -- Mom from a tiny town near Houghton/Hancock and Dad from a tiny town near Iron Mountain. I grew up in lower Michigan, but all vacations were to the UP, home of pastys and saunas and nisu and snow higher than your head. My grandpa built a sauna and even though it's been decades since I've had a sauna, that odor is still so easy to recall, with the big iron stove and the Lake Superior rocks piled up against it and the cedar walls and benches . . . nothing else is like it! Very nice of ICHC to put this on the front page! Glad to meet you, Becky!
