Good news everyone! You can still get to old memebase! Just type /2012 after the site of your preference's adress and you'll get to the old cheezburger version. Spread the word! Actually, I don't hate that rage face much... I just tend to get annoyed when I don't see the original rage guy face being used lately, or if they use rage faces (as opposed to regular meme faces) incorrectly.

I go on Memebase every day, so I have a feel for what certain memes would look like before they are reframed. If I only checked out the memes by e-mail subscription, I might miss out on something, and then I would see a reframe for a meme that I most likely have never seen before! Occasionally, they might post a reframe for something that I know to my knowledge has never been posted on Memebase before, so I have no choice but to react accordingly.

Yea, I know. Most reframes are crap anyway. 'HURRDURR YOU WERE WRONG!" "HURRDURR SPELLING MISTAKE!" "HURRDURR CHECK YOUR SOURCES THAT'S NOT CORRECT!". However, that thing you talk about is usually only an issue if you haven't visited the websites for a long time.
