I taught elementary school for 33 years, and some days, especially after bus duty or a parent conference, I felt like I was in the "big house"! I know what you mean about those days when everything is due, and nobody cuts you any slack on completing projects. Good luck. I'll say a little prayer for you. Your message made me laugh---comparing school to jail---yup, that seems about right today. (I have a big project due and it's making me a little nuts...I'm getting an advanced nursing degree and today I think I am out of my mind.)

Hi Crabby Tabby (It seems rude to just say Crabby.). I have heard of Iowa City. My brother drove semis and worked for a company out of there a couple of years ago. I think it's where that big truck stop is. What are you back in school for? Oh, my goodness, I just realized how that sounded. It sounded almost like asking someone what they were back in jail for! Hai, Linda! I just moved to a small town near Iowa City. I grew up in Mason City and later lived in Cedar Rapids for quite a few years---I am delighted to be back in this area (although I am sooooooooo busy with school that I haven't unpacked much.) We used to live in northern Minnesnowta and it was cold!

Hi. Thank you for accepting my request. I saw that our birthdays are so close and being Geminis I knew we could have a great deal in common. One of my favorite great-aunts was a June 12th lady. Where are you in Iowa? I have relatives in Windsor Heights and Clive. They are my cousin's children. They try to visit here in Tennessee at least once a year. They are young, and I don't travel anymore, too many responsibilities with my rescue dogs and cats and no one to take care of them if I am away! I like to give collectibles, too, but I will trade if forced to to complete a set for myself or a friend.Great to meet you. wally01 (Linda)
