Yes, I *do* balance eggs! Have twice been able to manage it on the pointier end. *buffs nails on shirt* I really do miss Jack Horkheimer; the replacements just don't have his infectious enthusiasm. When I guaged my tragus I took both from 18 to 14 in one step. (I've since gone back to 16 and yes, the holes shrank!) I really don't recommend that but then, I do seem to have a higher pain threshold than most. *chuckle* My mother got her first (and only, sadly) tat for her 50th birthday, a yellow rose on her calf. I intend to do a purple iris in her honor someday soon - papa has lung cancer and I really don't expect her to outlive him by very long. *sigh* Okay, I could get into the whole mummification process even though it sounds hideously expensive. The whole freeze-drying thing, though - WTF? Yeah, I think I could handle it if my Morty were prepped that way and curled up, asleep...but I really just don't get the pet parents who have their furbabies done wide-awake with open eyes.. That would creep me out so badly. Glass eyes have no expression, no soul...and you'd have to ~dust~ them! *shudders* I'm cool with cremains, I guess. I have to tell ya, my Morty is ailing by the day (he's eighteen) and when he crosses the bridge I'll most likely be absent for a while. I honestly do not know how I'm going to get through it. The love sure has been worth it, though. He was found in the bottom of a dumpster when he was about five weeks old and he's been my trusted familiar ever since. Anyway...happy Sooper Bowel Sundog! :D

If my own experience with the conch pierce is any indication I'd think you'll be healed up and ready to go in four to six months. One thing about industrials, though, is that sleeping on that side will never be *entirely* comfortable again. Ten years on I'm still very aware of the little curved barbell, and if it's not sitting just right I wake up with a sore ear. I can't fall asleep unless I'm on my right side - which is where I want the industrial. Sooo...I'm think just another conch pierce on that side for now (c'mon, tax refund!!) and a rook at a later date. Also want to get my right nostril pierced as well. I *really* want a Monroe but, alas, that's an utter no-go. I had rheumatic fever as a kid and have to have heavy doses of penicillin for just a routine dental cleaning so a lip piercing would mean antibiotics every day for the rest of my life; not quite worth it. You have an Anubis tat?! WANT!! Have had the design done for years, just don't know where I want to put it. I've always been drawn to Anubis for the same reason as you - in fact, we have a canopic jar in his image that holds the cremains of our beloved mutt, Opal. You know, this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. :o)

Thank you for the Imbolc greets! I'll actually celebrate it through the twelfth since the old calendar sort of disagrees on the actual dates. I put down bird seed, rabbit food and cat food along the fence in the backyard so all the neighborhood critters can feast.. :o) Okay, in order...yes, Rickman plays Hook. Beautifully. Having read the book you'll know the "chilling" part - the expression on O'Hara's face when he realizes just who Stella really is...wow. Okay, onward... Piercings: both tragus (EASY pierces!), left conch, four in left lobe, two right lobe, nose stud - had to take the dermal anchor out of my arm because it didn't "set" correctly but will be getting another, in the palm of the fairy tattoo on my leg. No, I don't have an industrial yet, although I've been thinking about it for a while. Your story made my asshole pucker tighter, I have to tell ya - holy crap! Was the freaking piercer new, an idiot or what?! *shudders* My conch pierce took just over eight months to heal; my tragus pierces, after re-guaging a week after the initial procedure, took less than a month. Since you've had the rings in the entire time it should be relatively smooth going to re-guage and heal - but do it in steps!!! Yeah, you'll spend more on bars but it'll be a LOT less traumatic. Unless you really like the pain. You just don't strike me as the type. (end part one)

I *lobe T,M,D! Have you ever seen An Awfully Big Adventure? Chilling. So of course I just loved it. ;o) I have two Willy Wonka posters in my bedroom...several autographed Willy things in the living room...and one signed Depp picture. I love ebay!! I plan on sleeving my right arm in Johnny characters: Jack Sparrow, Willy and probably Barnabas - if I don't like the movie it'll be Sweeney Todd. They'll all be black and white except for the beads in Jack's dreads, the blood on Todd's razor and Willy's awesome violet eyes. Now to win the freaking lottery so I can afford to have it done.

Oops...my secret's out. :P *lol* I do believe Rosenstein's eyes are dark blue but I still think he's handsome anyway. I'm a sucker for dark eyes, mostly. Okay, with Weird Al it ain't just the hair, although it is freaking faboo. It's that killer smile that gets me. Wanna drool? Googlefy Joey Tempest. So purty back in the day but damn! He has aged well. Oh, and you had me at Alan Rickman. *sigh*

*lol* Ramble away, my friend! I love hearing stories so it doesn't bother me a bit. Next on the drool list: have you seen those Ageless Male commercials? Dr. Jacob Rosenstein. Yowzah! *giggles* Is good to be talking men...gets me over my hankerings for Beth Ditto, Catherine Zeta Jones and Paula Zahn. :D
