We only have a few token Japanese in management positions that have nothing to do with my line of work so I wouldn't impress them even if I spoke Japanese. It would help with my work, but the language seems frightfully difficult. I know I'm better at learning European languages. The last one I took was Italian.

Squeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! Ai has a happi! Thanks for being my friend - I once lived a year in Leeds (1989/90) and I have very fond memories of it. I still go there to see some friends I made back then. And Japanese! I work for a Japanese company, but don't speak the language. I know it is fiendishly difficult, so you have all my admiration. I'll go and check out your blog when I have more time. Sounds interesting!
