Thank you for the congrats. I agree completely, that's why my time here is limited. I used to spend hours here. Now, about 90 minutes or so on Sunday mornings. It's good to hear from you. I have been wondering if many of my first wave of friends were still around. I know a few of them have passed away.

Let's see, some big chsnges that people hated are: *The broken LOL maker. No speech or thought balloons? Preposterous! *The broken comment section. Most of the older comments were lost in the transition from WordPress. Now, unless you sign in, your name becomes Purple Lampshade or Green Sofa or something just as absurd. *Removal of sites. Historic Lols, Roflrazzi, Set Phasers to Stun etc. Many sites that did not go away became "rotating sites" that accepted no more submissions. You just got to see what others put up years ago. Monday Thru Friday, So Much Pun, There I Fixed it, and Very Demotivational fall into that category. *Not keeping up with the blog posts- Personally, I liked the "Featured User" posts (I may be a bit prejudiced, seeing that I was one). The games they played were fun too. I was a member of the Cheezburger Cup Soccer Team. *Ending the collectibles-I know this goes back a way, but I enjoyed collecting and trading them. If any of the other Cheezpeeps ED this message, please add your two cents if I missed anything.

Sorry to hear about your stroke. I hope everything Is getting back to semi-normal. A lot of the "Old Gaurd" has either passed or got so fed up with the changes going on here, they found other ways of entertaining themselves. What can I say? I've captioned pictures since was a kid. About the only time that I have to make LOLs anymore is Sunday morning before church. If I was to pare down my friend list to only those still here, I'd only have a few dozen left. I leave it alone because it helps my self confidence. It's good to hear from you. We've been friends for quite some time.

Well hey, Chuck! It sure is nice to hear from ya! I see you on here occasionally but you're always gone again by the time I do. Thanks muchly for the congrats! Don't know why they picked me but it gave me the warm fuzzies regardless. lol! I hope things are going well for ya up there in the frigid northeast. We've had ice and a bit of a freeze here but at least we know it'll warm back up soon. Still, it's massive panic here for most folks! It's almost funny - if it wasn't so dumb! I found out about this on the Robert Silverberg newsgroup I belong to. I met Frederik Pohl at a SF convention in Calgary many years ago. I count the 10 or so minutes I was able to spend chatting with him while he signed a copy of his autobiography among the highlights of my fannish experiences. He was a perfect gentleman.
