I bought a Persian themed rug once and laid it out on the living room floor. I was walking around the edges, being careful not to *get it dirty*, and the cat came in made a beeline for the ivory colored center motif and flopped right down on it. Of course it didn't dawn on me until many years later that the light color reminded him of a sunspot. It must be programmed into them.

Now I'm relatively rich, so I've even afforded myself a digital camera-but now no cats. They're convenient to take pictures of because they're right in the house, and fairly often up to no good.

Holy kittehs!! I went to the Darwin webpage and watched the video--only once. My God, that's heavy-duty work--perhaps a little Walt Kelly-esque...not really. In any case IT DOESN'T SUCK!! I've got the site on Favorites. I'm truly impressed.
