Middle school aged boys usually not as bad as girls. Dads maintain the "cool" factor better than moms. That way at your house? Perfect age for Star Wars & other good Sci-Fi! Lots of great books for that age group, too. Hope you guys had a great Halloween! ;3

Feel your pain! Gandhi beat out ET in 1982!! Thought my husband was going to pop a vessel! Turned our daughter on to Star Wars when they added more FX to the original trilogy and showed it in the theater. Forgot the year, but she was the perfect age. How old is your son? My kid turned 26 (!) this summer. Without my permission. Pretty good kid; she was the one who got us watching Firefly. It's amazing how well our children turn out in spite of us! LOL ;3

BTW, saw Star Wars in the theater when it first came out, too. Saw original Episode IV eight times. What about 2001: A Space Odyssey? Friends & I argued so much about what it all "meant," we actually went to the theater one afternoon with pens & paper so we could take NOTES! Those were the days! ;3
