Weird to say, but Cupcakes made me laugh :| I don't think you'll appreciate it, unless you like gore. But it's a "must" to read lol, since it is the (?) most known fanfiction on MLP. My Little Dashie, if you never read it, is quite interesting^^ Most of comments on it say that they cried. In my case, I didn't. Sweet Apples Massacre is one the the fanfiction that is "gorer" than Cupcakes, and it is not interesting at all. Completely skip it. Rainbow Factory seems a bit better, less gore, still grimdark, but interesting. A bit strange. Fallout: Equestria (crossover with Fallout) is quite long (40+ chapters), I don't play Fallout so I don't really "enjoy" references to the game, maybe you'll... ? You can also check fictions on EquestriaDaily.com, which is well-known for its "high-quality" of fanfictions. There's a search function, VERY useful, which can show you the best fanfictions (6 stars), order them by genre, etc. http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/09/eqd-super-simple-archiver-test.html (2057 fanfictions when I write these lines, so you'll have a lot of choice ^^). Do you have preferences? (I mean, about the genre of the story: grimdark, adventure, shipping, sci-fi, crossovers, canon, ...?)
