From the roof she starts calling out for me and when I hear her I go outside and hold the front door open so she can climb down and run inside! Poor baby! Charlie loves on her when he sees her and he adores her, but Angel is the boss of him! She can't climb the tree cause she's a fatty! The missing cat is Louisiana and she's one of my favs. She's a tiny, shy little cat that I cought in a trap. I got her spayed and moved her inside. She has a very hard time making friends and only has 2 out in the catroom (2 out of 10). She spends a lot of time in the catyard hanging out by herself. She will only let me pet her if I don't make direct eye contact and don't act like I'm going to pick her up. She's only started purring in the last year or so. She'll look at me from across the room and purr and "make biscuits". I hope she comes back home so I can trap her again and move her back inside :(

her and she got scared! Angel, Charlie, Paulie, and BooRay are my "toughies" who neither want or need me! They DO NOT want to be inside either. They are dog-chasing, snake-killing, terrors of the front yard! Angel and Charlie are a couple and Angel does not like her mother-in-law, Elsie. Elsie is also an outside cat and she time-shares with another family somewhere in my neighborhood. When Elsie comes to visit me she has to dart across the yard, climb the tree next to the house, then jump on the roof!

HI! We're BACK! Everyone's okay, cept 1 of my kitties ran away! Bout the fishies.... my last husband liked fishies a lot and he bought battery operated air thingys for our aquariums in case of emergencies and I am happy to say all my fishies lived! We didn't have power for 8 days then didn't have phone or ISP until this morning! I MISSED YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!! My boyfriend worked all thru the "afterwards" because so many peeple evacuated that where he worked was short on help (grocery store) and I was left home with all the kiddos and myself. I got SO LONELY FOR YOU PEEPLES!!!! The kitty that ran away was one of my favorites. She was semi-feral and lived in my catroom (for her own protection) and I brought in all the outside cats before the storm (like I always do) but she panicked and hid. I opened up the door to the catyard 5 days after the storm and apparently she found a hole somewhere in the fencing and bailed! Someone (Angel, Charlie, Paulie, or BooRay)probably bullied he

We have an autistic kitty and me & my boyfriend BOTH are responsible for her. We also have an 18 yr old Lab mix w/bone cancer and an 8 yr old Chow mix with liver failure and a hip "missing". The vet removed the femoral head because she was severely displastic. Then there's the guinea pig cause he's in a cage... All the other dogs will run out on our heels and the other cats we'll just have to do our best - there's only 2 hoomins and 30 animals - Oh shit! and the fish! I forgot the fish!

When Rita blew thru here 3 yrs ago I brought in 4 extra cats the first night - didn't know where they belonged but brought em in anyway! We didn't have power for 18 days and our county was closed so we wound up with another couple of cats and 4 little kittens AND 3-4 left-behind dogs at meal-times. Me and another neighbor went around and fed dogs left behind inside of fences, etc. And, yes... everyone has their assigned pet!

Oh, yes... you guys catch shit everytime a hurricane heads north! All my dogs are inside (and their kennels are ready for storm time), all my inside kittehs are locked in, all my outside kittehs are inside in kennels & crates. Thank goddess we don't have any livestock! The only cats I can't catch are feral - Lumpy 1 and Lumpy 2 - and I don't have time to put out the trap. :] But Lumpys 1 & 2 can go under the house if the weather gets bad! T

Hai Lisa! That's our boy, Tiger. He's the smartest kitteh I've ever seen. He's a big brother to our adopted baby (stray), Boots. And he gives me that "look" all the time. ;-) *** Nice to meet'ya, LisaN!!! <(+.+)>
