Although I agree we should maintain a strong military, ever since the dawn of the 20th century we've been fighting the wrong wars. We have good men dying for bad causes. But it's more than just the general stuff. It's not just education as a whole, or health carea s a whole, it's what they do with the taxes in those specific reigons. Our money, my money, is going towards increasingly ridiculous things. As an example, I remember reading about a new policy going up in Oregon (at least I think it was Oregon) that allows minors to get their dicks chopped off (or frankenstein ones added) at the expense of the state (taxpayers) without even needong parental consent.

It's not just about the size of the taxes, it's about what the taxes go towards. Added on that is the tens of thousands of pages long IRS code. Income taxes aren't great either.

Well, the big thing in my state is property taxes, and I don't own property yet.

Now I can gamble, vote, and complain about taxes in that order!

Don't flatter yourself, it's only a part of the greater problem. I finished school, and I'm a legal adult now.

Well, at least you admit it. I'm doing alright.
