I think you will like F and F 5. I hope you will get a chance to watch it.

I have not seen it but heard it was good--I'll have to put it on my to do list next time I'm off. Bullitt is a movie I never get tired of watching.

Have you seen FAST AND FURIOUS 5? The Chargers in it came right out of a showroom and had no modifications whatsoever except the safety protocol on their chips had to be overridden. I love Mustangs too. One of my best friends in high school had the use of a 1965 maroon Mustang (I'm old--was back in 1966), and we had loads of fun driving around in it. I fell in love with it then, but it was the look of the re-released Charger that brought me to ownership. BULLITT is a classic!

They did not do it because of me-- the original purchase of them was a trial so they never had a lot to work with-dropped the Impalas and motored on with the Vic's. they're still pretty commited to Ford but got a few Chargers recently to fill in the gaps. I've been a Charger fan since I first saw Bullitt and loved both Chargers & Mustangs.

Wow, that was some chase! I did understand that you meant the roof of a building, but it never hurts to be sure. I hope there was no connection between having your Charger run into and the decision to stop using Chargers. I'm a Mopar fan from the days of Richard Petty as an active NASCAR driver and loved the original Chargers. It was a happy day for me when Dodge brought back that model. To be a sedan, it really handles well and is fun to drive. I hope your powers that be will someday will bring back some Pursuits.

That's the roof of a near by house-- not my car!

We still have quite a few Crown Vic's floating around and despite the claims that the new Taurus being "police ergonomic" they have a bit of getting used to built in. Still like the Vics best but am looking forwards to trying the new Chargers but I don't think we're getting a lot. Last time I drove a charger I was driving backwards down an alley towards a suspect possibly armed with a machete when another vehicle hit me! That led to an extended foot chase and the suspect on the roof for a 3 hour stand off. The took our few Chargers off the road soon after & I haven't driven one since!

I'm glad it gave you a chuckle. The chief deputy of my county lives one block over from me. He's very tall and says his 2012 Pursuit is comfortable. My civilian Charger is an older one, and when I once was behind him at a traffic light, I could see clearly that more room has been given to the passenger area. I'm a runt, so I'm comfortable in the older model. I haven't yet seen many of the Taurus Inteceptors in Virginia, but there are still plenty of the Crown Vics around along with Chargers and Impalas. CAR AND DRIVER magazine recently put the Pursuit up against the Impala and said the Impala is good for investigators and meter maids, but patrol officers who may be in high speed chases should have a Charger. I had a good laugh over that.

I thought it was good and had a good chuckle over it. I have driven the Charger and overall enjoyed it but then I'm not a big guy & fit ok-- the big officers had a tough time fitting comfortable & they were pretty small in back but the new Chargers are supposed to be a little larger & have been getting thumbs up so far-- haven't driven one yet cause we ' re getting mostly the new Taurus Interceptors-- people still like the look of the charger though

I want you to know I have nothing but respect for and gratitude toward police officers everwhere (I have multiple former students who are officers, and I'm very proud of them), so this is meant to be a laughing with, NOT laughing at LOL: http://cheezburger.com/6254968832

Sorry for the lateness of the reply but I have been crazy busy. Thanks again and that poor forest ranger was definitely one NOT to sit beside at the company pic-i-nic! On the positive side they probably never needed to worry about night lights. Thanks again and hope you are well. Cheers mate.

Congratz on your latest Very Demo FP!!! Poor forest rangers--they aren't all gotten by bears though. Google Roy Sullivan, a park ranger who held a record he didn't want (I knew him when I was a child).

Congratz on having your plan make the Very Demotivational FP!!! That is an awesome LOL (and I'm jealous that I would never have thought of it in a million years)!

Thanks so much!!! That was great and you made my night. Clearly you've got my number... I was going to let my evil Kirk out but frankly I'm too damn tired. You are a class act and thanks again!
