As long as you're comfortable with your decision, that's the best you can do, i became the best smash bros player in my city with Palutena, had a ton of new friends and basically living the life, i work to pay some bills sadly, but meh.

This isn't about me being eager for you to go away, it's about you deciding that you get too attached and that means you sleep less/be silly.
