Sry. didn't mean to go postal. It just kinda agrevates me that they wont bother going back and rebuilding there home! Where they lived for so long. Instead they take up homes and jobs from people up here. My boyfriend lost his job to a refugee even though the guy knew nothing on machinery and my Beau knows how to run every thing In that shop. How that's fair I will never know.

We were hit but not nearly that bad of course. We took a bit of damage but what I think is the worst is that the people who came up here have yet to go back down to new orleans and our crime rate has skyrocketed in the past 10 yrs!Not to say they are the main cause but I was watching the news when the storms passed and that's what they were doin down there too. just pillaging what they wanted. It just spread up here is what happened.

That's good. New Orleans is a nice place to visit in the day anyway but it doesn't seem like a place I would want to live in. But it was great working with Habitat. How bad did you guys get hit by the storms?

Lol. Awesome. Never been to New Orleans. It seem kinda like ....well not the best place to visit since Katrina and Rita hit. I wish I could have helped out down there but I was at world changers that summer I was off. It's like Habitat for humanity only a little smaller. We were in Texas.

Well I've visited New Orleans a couple times over Spring Break. First time I was there, I was with Habitat for Humanity.

Hehe. Well I had to drive from Louisville to Lexington and then back after a trip up there to visit my brother. So I know what you mean by middle of no where. It's funny how both cities are kinda crowded but in between there is hardley anything! Of course I'm a southern girl and I like more space than a city provides Lol. ; )

Haha well I live about 5 miles outside the Louisville city limits. In other words, the middle of nowhere.

Lol. pretty funny! My Brother lives in Kentucky. The outskirts of Lexington. Where abouts do you live? You dont have to tell. I'm just curious. Even though curiosity killed the cat it still had 8 lives to go, Lol.
