I would have to agree with you on all counts. "Faith" is a great thing to have, along the same lines as "hope;" however, when it gets so blinding that you refuse to see what else is out there, it's a hindrance. Quite frankly, I just don't understand people that are either too brain-washed or just flat out unwilling to accept there are as many different kinds of people in the world as there are stars in the sky. Once we all figure out how to mind our own business and keep our noses out of our neighbors' windows, life will be better. Not that that's ever going to happen. Human nature won't allow it ... 'specially in 'Merica ... home of the train-wreck known as "Reality TV."

Thank you! I refer to your type as "straight, but not narrow." I'm not really anti anything, just resentful that the only acceptable "morals" in my country are those of the Christian, right-wing fundamentalists -- and they can't even get them right. I am nondenominational in all respects. I try to at least get a grasp of all the theologies out there -- from Buddhist to Voodoo, I've at least given myself a passing knowledge. After all, is it not written that "He" is a "God of Many Names?" Exploring different theologies is just seeing what "face" is put on the All Mighty. I just cannot resist poking fun at the hypocrisy of the Moral Majority.
