Sorry for the late reply. Here's a tip, images get resized to 500 pixels wide. Before you submit something, resize it yourself to see if the text is readable. I'll look forward to the next thing you come up with.

Ah, I know that feeling all too well. Yeah, if your image is above a certain width, it will be resized to fit the site. There are two ways to counter this. The first is to make your image very tall, typically with multiple panels. The second is to make the text really big, which is what I usually do. Arial Black and Impact are good fonts because the lettering is really thick and the letters are closer together than most fonts.

Hmmm....not quite sure how to help you, but I know what you mean. About how big do you want them, because there is probably a limit on how wide it can be. In which case adjusting the image size in your picture editor and THEN adding text should help. Is that what you are wondering?
