Thanks for letting me know. Never know when something it going to hit us hard. I'm sure the winter storms did not help. I took this week off because I maxed my vacation time. Our Hospital group started a new everything one system website. We all had to be trained and were not allowed time off the first three weeks it went live so now we are all taking off what we can. It was scary at first but we all caught on. Saw on weather channel you are getting severe storms. We are on the edge of that so I am staying home in my jammies with my kitties. Take care

Time does take care of things. I had great Aunt who lived in Lancaster and we visited her often. I fell in love with the Amish area. Loved the food and tranquility. Hershey is heaven and the mall was great. Giving myself at least one more year of work and go from there.

I know. It's hard to leave somewhere you are comfortable. I loved Lancaster PA and was there 20 plus years, but I've been here now over 20 too and am just as settled. Time takes care of everything

Glad you are on I should have been more specific. This place is Kings Mountain way far away from water. Daughter said there was a pond. I probably would move closer to the water and be only a few hours away from her. I'm just spoiled having lived here all my life.

No, I don't know her. We have some pretty beautiful islands here in North Carolina too. Lots to choose from.

Thank you for the warm welcome. My daughter still wants to relocate to North Carolina and would like me to move there also. She is all I have left but leaving my beautiful island for far inland will take some getting used to. She has friends she has visited several times. Im sure I will go but ill be watching every water show on TV and ready every book about oceans. BTW are you familiar with Marie Force the author. She lives here and has written many books featuring Block island and Aquidneck island (where I live). She's a fantastic story teller. I feel like I know all of her characters.

Any site that has photos needs a flashplayer installed. Google updates Adobe flashplayer automatically (they say. With others, go to Adobe and get the free flashplayer download. It will not hurt your system. It will speed up photos, etc. What she might mean is your router signal is weak and a router adapter would help. It looks like a flashdrive. I got one at Radio Shack for about $25.00. Actually, I have had the same thing all along, but my old one died. What it does is enhance the signal. If you click on internet connections, you can see how strong or weak your signal is. If it is weak, you might still be able to email, but not get on the internet

It is so frightening when it hits close to home and our friends and family. I wish all of them relief as quickly as possible. But, nothing will replace the memories they have lost.
