No problem about the rescue kitty. And thanks for the BD wishes. Hope to hear from you when you get a chance. Miss ya! Don't worry about replying to THIS message, I know how it is when you get swamped with messages. But would love to hear from you again when you get a chance...even via e-mail. Hope all is well with you. Hugs!!

Hi Anna, how goes it? How's the back?? Say, do you do the collectible thing? I have things now and then that you need, but don't want to sent them to anyone who isn't interested. (I used to hate playing, now I think it's fun!)

We need to get back into the swing of things. I miss our chats!! How is your back by now, and how are the kitties? I was just in Florida again. Had a wonderful time! Now I can look forward (cough-cough) to a winter blizzard in the next day or so. We're supposed to get up to 18"!! So glad I have the next few days off!!

LOL!! You are so funny! I think ALL kittens are good eaters! I remember when the cats were kittens, I bought a kitten book, and it said in it that kittens are little eating machines. I had to feed them both 4x a day till they got a little older. Seems like at about 10 months old I started cutting that back a little. When I feed the wet now, the 'kids' have to be separated. Then I have to feed Romeo a little less, because he is a fast eater and doesn't always finish. Then Roxie will come along and finish his!! So I've learned to feed him a little less, and it equals out. Let me know when you have some good shots, I want to see your kitty!!

I just showed my husband your 'nanner' LOL. I thought he was going to break my ear drum, he was laughing so hard!!
By MJKittyMom on May 13, 2010 at 5:16 PM
Glad your back is doing better.... or WILL be!! I had to laugh when you mentioned your husband using the expression 'neener' I don't hear it too often, but sometimes when Hubby gets a banana out he will say, "Naner-naner-NANer" in song form. He's silly sometimes. Oh, and the reason I made more at the sale was because 98% of the stuff was mine! He had some DVD's and an old computer out. All the rest was mine. :-)

You're too funny!! Our garage is attached, so you'd have to take the whole house, and we aren't selling! Seriously, we did really good on the sale. I took in about $400, Hubby about $120. He didn't have much out there. Both days the weather was bad however. Cold, and windy, and rainy. I had a desk out there as my work table, with an electric heater underneath!! But it was fun anyway. It's amazing what kind of people you meet at garage sales!! What have YOU been up to lately? How's your back?

I actually logged on around 1:AM, then again around 4:AM!! I had a horrible night sleep. I'm usually up till 12 or 1, but last night for some reason I couldn't sleep. I hate nights like that. Sis is getting better, but says she's getting the runs because of the meds she's on. I'm finally feeling better, but get tired really fast. Low energy level. The sickness is still in my system... sometimes it takes me a long time to shake it. I had to laugh... In one message you mentioned something about cotton.... You didn't cotton the idea or something.... I told hubby that must be a southern expression. I suppose 'Holy Cow' would be a funny expression to you! Cows, we have 'em!! LOL!! Wisconsin is America's Dairyland. That's even on the license plates. (Sometimes when you're in the country you can smell it after the farmers have spread manure. The farmers say that is the smell of money. Ugh!!

Well, I guess that's all you can do right now, is ask for God's guidance to get through this. I really do feel for you. I've had back problems myself, but lucky for me, they were short lived. But I know it's no fun. And if you're anything like me, when something goes wrong, the next thing you do is feel depressed....which only ADDS to the problems!! I keep wine coolers here for that very purpose. I don't have them often, but every now and then it helps to calm me down. BTW, we are the same age.... not sure if we discussed this or not. I'll be 55 in a couple of weeks. Ugh!! I'll say a few prayers for you!!! Hugs, (tender ones) Mary Jo

Oh sweetie, I am so sorry. My goodness, sounds like you are going through h*ll and back again!! So very sorry to hear that. I didn't even recognize some of the terms you shared with me... had to look them up! My Mother went through a bad time with her back when she was alive. She had lower back surgery when she was in her 40's, and it seemed like all through the years he had problems. CONSTANTLY used heating pads!! Then in her elderly years, she fell, and had more back surgery...the kind where they concrete the vertebras together. Finally after a few falls she had to take pain pills the rest of her life and use a walker. In a way, I'm glad she's gone, because she isn't in pain anymore. Back pain is no fun. I hope they can help you live a normal life. If I met you, I'd give you a hug, but promise not to squeeze too hard!! Take care....

Physical Therapy. I remember having that after having my rotator cuff surgery. I remember thinking I could laugh or cry, so I decided to laugh! Believe it or not, it really helps. Good Luck!
