The first one is just a screenshot from "Ponies sliding into a box v2.0" on YouTube. The second I came across in a Google search. I photoshopped both, though, to improve the coloring and what not. I sort of liked the old one better. It was more happy-go-lucky, which I think influenced the way people read my comments, making them more likeable. But I like this one, too. I don't know. Maybe I'll change it back in a few weeks. Or maybe I'll try combining them somehow.

As far as I am concerned, the MLB bar is put on automatically during uploads, or at least whenever I do anyway. size/resolution is scaled to fit the website, but it looks nicer if its 1200 x 950 or more. The font is called "Impact", and comes standard on most image software. Hope this helps.

Well I have Adobe Photoshop, I just don't know what the standards are for meme content (resolution, file type, fonts, etc.). And then I also don't understand how some memes get the little MLB bar on the bottom and some don't or how they are submitted to MLB at all.

Check out Gimp: it's the best free image-manipulation software out there. It's basically all I use to make pony memepics.
