Ohai! well for the moderation issue you'll have to wait :/, every time you change your nick in the comment box goes to moderation, as for "combining the two accounts" you mean putting a link to your cheez profile while using your gravatar? what I did was just login into my wordpress account (wich is the same as the gravatar account) by clicking the "w" icon in the comment box, once logged then you click on "change" and then you can put whatever you want in the fields (e-mal, name, website), as I already had my e-mail and name combination moderated, I had no problem to post comments, but if you change a single letter in any detail, you get your comments moderated :/.
