Never been there, myself. As for sleeping, I'm taking an anti-depresant to sleep, myself, but for you, I'd suggest (believe it or not) catnip tea. Earl Grey also has a tea called 'Sleepy Time" that you might try. Soaking in a tub with lavender in the water is good. Failing that, you might try spraying a lavender-scented mist on your pillow a few minutes before you go to bed (don't over-do it. There IS such a thing as too much of a good thing and too much can keep your nose and throat uncomfortable enough to keep you awake). Hope this helps. Bye.

Tanx for asking me to be a cheezfrend! I can tell by your 'About Me' in your profile that you must be a very honest person. Good for you! The world needs more people like you and not so many 'politically correct'. There's another reason I was glad you requested my frendship - I've been trying to get a least one frend from every State and Wyoming was one of two that I didn't have. So now it's only Montana that's missing! Thanx again!

*Sorry, hit the wrong key*. What I was going to say is that WEst Mesa High is just to the west (of course) of Albuquerque in case you didn't know. And Santa Fe is north of there.

Well done! I had to do some yard work, too. Wish I'd have done it yesterday. In thought the courtyard is fenced in (6' dog-eared wood fence), most of what I raked up still spread out all over again. We seem to have more winds out here than anywhere else that I know of...except in the West Mesa area. I remember that it would be blowing as I went from class to class @ West Mesa High School (I graduated from there 1974). We had to go outside to reach some of the classes because they were in portable buildings. You'd not only walk into class with your hair mussed, chances were that you'd be picking sand out of your teeth, as well! Any way, I should have done it yesterday, but I was still tired from all the earlier display preparations and I lazed (we lazed) away most of Monday. Catch you later. P.S. I didn't think of that I'd spelled it correctly. Thanks for reminding me just how it IS spelled. Maybe I'll remember it this time ;~P

P.S. if you do research on what an 'eye-eye' is, tell me what you found and tell me how finding about that branched off into other things of interest.

What you learn may not have any effect right now, but you'd be surprised how little bits of information like that can blow someone else's mind. For example, Ta and I were on our LOL site, looking at animal pictures and we came to a really weird-looking one. Ta hadn't a clue as to what it was and I told her it was an 'Eye Eye' (I'm not pulling your leg, there really IS a tree-dwelling creature called an Eye Eye). Ain't gonna tell you what it is, so now, if you're curious, you'll have to get on the computer and research it! Mean ain't I? No, just sneaky. Go on, Google it and see what you come up with. Life itself is a learning process...use it as best you can. When you stop learning, you're dead and ,then, it's too late. Gotta go, if I don't feed the dogs, they're going to come in and get me. Take care and think about it, ok? Bye

Talina isn't my 'real' sister, either. We've known each other for over 20 years now so we sort of adopted each other. You might say that she's the sister I never had (I'm the oldest of three. I may have mentioned my 2 step-brothers, I don't remember). And you can find plenty to do if you take time to think about it a little. There's more than just games and e-mail on the Web...pick a subject that interests you...say, the different breeds of horses for example. Do a Search (I use Google most) and take a look at what comes up. maybe you'll see a type of saddle you never heard f before or read about a horse race that's held in Egypt every year and you off-shoot in that direction. Which will lead you to more things that you've never heard of or are interested in. There is so much to learn just about anywhere you look. And just because you do look that doesn't mean you're a nerd or anything. What it makes you is SMARTER than you were yesterday. What you learn may not have

That left us feeling like toast during the drive from the shop on the north said of Albuquerque to where we live south of Santa Fe. We got home and Ta told me to go feed the animals and close the barn while she unloaded what little that needed to go in (glue can't be frozen, doll houses can), got the fireplace going and let the little dogs out. Ta wasn't being bossy and I didn't take that way. I hadn't been wearing thirty pounds of komono (I was in three layers, she was in SEVEN) all day so I did the 'heavier' stuff. That was where my abilites over-lapped hers and I could do that task easier than Ta could. Besides, that extra weight and being on concrete floors for so many hours left her in pain. In fact, both her knees weren't even on speaking terms with her anymore. I could do (would do) what she couldn't and when the time comes she'll do what I can't. It works very well for us that way. Looking tall that I've written, i think I've rambled on longer than I should so I'll

As for my sister (adopted and younger) we take turns on being bossy. I have my area that I am good at and she has hers and each gives way to the other in the process. We remind each other to eat (especially when one of us is feeling 'off'), take meds...that sort of thing. Actually, it's not being bossy, it's concern and in an effort to keep the household running smoothly. Reminders about this or that. Like today. Yesterday we put one a Matsuri (Japanese Girl's Day festival) display. It took us all week to get things picked out, listed and wrapped and taken to the shop . Girl's Day held every third day of the third month, but the start of the display was the First. It'll run to the 22nd...then we do the whole thing again... backwards. Anyway, we spent a number of hours yesterday on our feet and in komonos, tabbies and gettas, explaining things like 'sky brows' and 'blackened teeth' and just what Girl's Day was all about. That left us feeling like toast during the drive fr

I clean houses as some of my income. I also do the housecleaning (mainly vacum only because the place is packed full of breakables and heavy Victorian furniture. Just dusting alone takes all day and I don't have a spare 'all day' very often. Sometimes, the size of the dust- bunnies I find are SCARRY! Anyway, I do the dust-bunny and cobweb (my sister DOES NOT like most of the spiders we *I*find) hunting, I do the cooking, laundry and shopping. I started doing that for my folks when I was about your age (my mother appriecated my attempt at laundry that first time, but the idea of me using a wringer washer like that scared her a bit. She also made light of the fact I'd put bleach in with the colors. (oops) And you don't want to hear about my first attempt at 'cooking' something (beyond peanut butter sandwiches) for my mother, my two half-brothers and myself. As for my sister (adopted and younger) we take turns on being bossy. I have my area that I am good at and she has hers an
