I think it would make a fantastic lyric.

A fine collection of words, my friend, but too potent for a mere title. You ought to put that into a poem somewhere. I am going to call my little creation "Battle Cry" because the play on words clicks right into place all nice and neat. I, too, write on a variety of topics. Have a lovely day, and with it, a haiku: such careless whispers / spilled secrets in the moonlight / a nightingale's song

Something that fits your theme, I think. It's a bit cynical, sorry about that. It's not titled yet: Hush little baby, please don’t cry / Just listen as the angels sing / An air raid siren lullaby / While seated on a bomber’s wing / Hush little baby, please don’t whine / Don’t question the bureaucracy / Nor speak against a cause divine / This is the cost of being free

Yes, in training. I will always be in training. Anyone who calls themselves an expert in poetry is an arrogant fool. It is an art that can never be mastered. André, I was amazed when you mentioned you were 13 (just so you know, I am old enough to be your mother). The subject matter and your form display a level of maturity beyond your years. I do suggest you use an English spellcheck on your work. I understand that being Hungarian, English is a second language for you (though I feel you grasp it VERY well) but others will not be as forgiving. Other than that, I can't really complain. It's well structured and it certainly made an impression on me. I was born in Europe. I have family in London, and have been to West Berlin. I have seen the scars of WWII that remained, and still remain, long after the fighting stopped. War is a terrible, terrible thing. Here in the far west, many people fail to grasp that. They speak of the approximate 2400 military deaths in Pearl Harbour as an atrocity, while most are unaware of the approximately 25,000 death, mostly civilians, that occurred during the firebombing of Dresden, Germany. You are right to point out that two minutes is an insult, not an honour, to those that died. I wish there were more writings like yours. Perhaps the world would see why this pointless violence needs to end.

Unfortunately they ended the Collectibles program because it was taking more time and money to maintain than it was worth. Business is business is business I'm afraid. I do know that someone started an off-site program called CAT (Collect ALL the Things) but it's been a while since any news floated over my dashboard. If I see anything about it should I let you know?
