You're welcome! And you're right, it can be unpredictable. Sometimes I know for sure if something is going to make to the homepage, but most of the time it's really random. In fact I've had more than a few make it to the homepage that I never expected to get there. The spaghetti analogy is quite apt :) BTW, one of your submissions to my tumblr will be up next weekend sometime, and one of the redheads is next Monday's "Redhead of the Week".

You hear about the controversial meteor? it shattered peoples belief in how life on earth came to be because it had the fossils of blue bacteria in it and the it came from another planet...Scientists are ticked off because now their whole entire idea of life on earth coul be wrong and obviously religious people and blatently denying it and clinging to their beliefs...

Hey just a heads up...many of the pics you have submitted to Hawtness the last couple of days have already been on the site. It can be hard to avoid that, but Ive been stalking the site for so long I've seen almost everything that's been on the homepage and vote pages :P

You're welcome. Not sure why LOLs are overlooked if they are submitted over the weekend. Might have something to do with them not working weekend, so on Monday they have way more submissions to consider. I'm with you on it not being about your pics getting on the homepage; it has become a hobby for me which is why I started my own blog as well. Thanks for the compliment :)

Of course, I love getting submissions! I'll probably be using another one of yours for next week. The one for today has actually been on Hawtness before (quite a while ago) and I've always liked it. As far as what Hawtness will post...for one thing, sometimes things wont get posted simply because they've been submitted before. As for others, it's up to Joe Hawtness (guy who runs the site) to decide what goes up and what doesn't. I'll give you a hint tho- don't submit photos to Hawtness on the weekends. Most likely they won't get posted ;)
