Thanks to azevedan for putting together this message! - Ohai, cheezpeeps! On the eve of the great collectibles sale, here are some of my thoughts. If you still need things and you have coins, use your coins for the most rare that you need…those original Dr. Tinycat and the 4’s in the old sets. If you are all set, but have extra coins, wait a few days to see who is able to buy what for him/herself. Those of you with lots of extras – there are peeps who still need collectibles, collectibles that you have! Please try to gift to each person each day! Let’s help finish each other off! Those of you who need collectibles – please, PLEASE just ask each of us for what you need. It’s very hard keeping track. We want to help – make it easy for us! Looking for more names either to help out or hit up, send me a message! Kthnx! ~catena

I have all my collies except the newest ones! As for being unpredictable, always. But so are housecats!

By JediSquirrel on Dec 18, 2011 at 11:04 PM

They can be quite unpredictable and thus the perfect weapon. Very important!!! If you scroll down to the bottom of your not retired collectibles sets there are two RARE sets you can BUY for one coin per collectible!!! :D

Agreed let's get that armour. Set course warp 7. It seems there is a great deal of contraversy about Jedi vs Borg. Perhaps the best weapon would be an army of seriously peed of cats!

Might I recommend that we make a stop of at Mandalore first Captain? From what I've heard, if the doctor got eaten by the Sarlaac, his only hope of escape/rescue would be through Mandalorian armor and jet packs. As for my fellow Jedi Squirrels, they can't really seem to agree with each other on the subject of lightsabers, but they do think that it would be impossible to affect their minds as they think as a collective hive rather than an individual. However when it comes down to it, the Force can pack a substantial punch without even having to go near them. As it is though, the the Council of Force-Using Squirrels deems it best not to go anywhere near them as the danger of the Borg getting their hands on a Force-using Jedi is too great a risk to the galaxy at large. http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=216544

Very well number one. Lets go find the doctor his Sarlaac. Lets run some simulations on those Jedi questions and see what happens, perhaps your Jedi Squirrels can help?

By JediSquirrel on Dec 8, 2011 at 12:11 PM

They are quite distracted now Captain. Good save! Warp 9 engaged. I wonder whether Luke's Jedi mind tricks would work on the Borg if we were to get in a bind. Hmm...another interesting thought is whether they could adapt to be impervious to his lightsaber. On second thought, maybe we should just go and let the good doctor have a look at the Sarlaac that he's been talking about?

Set torpedos for tuna and fire a spread ahead of them. Then go to warp 9 and get us the hell out of here! Are there any spatial annomolies you wish to investigate number one? Maybe we could recruit the Millenium Falcon to fight the Borg?

By JediSquirrel on Dec 3, 2011 at 8:46 PM

Aye aye, Captain! Red alert! Phasers are armed and ready for your orders!

By bikemadlass on Dec 3, 2011 at 4:30 AM

Captain will be fine. All hand to battle stations mad cats to starboard! They have armed claws and hissing for action!

Course laid in for Vulcan, sir. (ma'am?) In Star Trek: Voyager, Captain Janeway told Lt.Paris to call her sir but he called her ma'am in different circumstances anyway. ;)

By bikemadlass on Dec 2, 2011 at 3:38 AM

In that case, set course for vulcan warp three! Engage.

By JediSquirrel on Dec 1, 2011 at 9:54 PM

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you! Personally, I would kind of hope your kittehs don't grow up, as their antics don't seem harmful and are just plain adorable! Hmmm...mum's the word on the chief engineer then. ;) Whoohoo!!! Let's get this ship going! :D

By bikemadlass on Nov 26, 2011 at 3:31 AM

I was hoping for a vulcan but.... your hired number one! I don't think Fluffy will ever grow up, he is totally mad! Harley isnt much better! The less said about the boyfriend (chief engineer) the better...... May be boldly go where no sci-fi nuts have been before!

My grandmother's cat used to be like that (minus the drool). My sister would make the cat dance, wear it on her head, and then cuddle it like a baby, and the cat would just put up with it! Now that's its a lot older, it meows bloodly murder any time she so much as tries to pick it up. Oh well. It was fun watching them while it lasted! :) I should have said this first. "As you have yet to select a first officer, respectfully, I would like to submit my candidacy. Should you desire, I can provide character references." :D Thank you, Captain!

I think they assume everyone is coming to visit them and thus has food for them, so they feel they have to look for it. Fluffy is a stunt cat. You can flip him around, dangle him and all sorts and the silly fool just keeps purring! He will also lay in your arms like a baby and sit on your lap like a toddler. But you always get covered in drool! He also likes to shake his head like a dog and send the drool everywhere. Oh and permission granted science officer!

By JediSquirrel on Nov 23, 2011 at 6:53 PM

Permission to come aboard, Captain? Heh! That's so cute! I wonder what they are looking for in the handbags? One of my friends has a cat that is actually quite friendly and will start purring almost as soon as you pick him up, even though he is very rambunctious and won't stay still for very long. :)

By bikemadlass on Nov 23, 2011 at 9:20 AM

All we need now is a starship now! My cats are a little mroe friendly then yours by the sounds of it. Fluffy will jump on literally ANYONE! He purrs so hard he drools! Harley is a little more cautious but is softening up quickly. Both are more then happy to go through a visitors handbag/bags.

By JediSquirrel on Nov 23, 2011 at 1:13 AM

Both are definitely good, even though I've never gotten into Star Trek beyond the tv series and films. There is all kinds of books in the Star Wars universe, for both the Jedi and hotshot smuggler, though not so much in the realm of horror, at least not that I've stumbled onto yet. They did have at least one series for Han Solo, though. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/The_Paradise_Snare I haven't read it yet, as I'm still trying to finish the Republic Commando series, but I've heard that it's a pretty good book. :) I had a cat once who after four years of owning her was only just beginning to accept being cuddled and still would race under the nearest bed or couch when a stranger came in. No amount of coaxing would persuade her to show her beautiful head until she was absolutely certain that the person had left. I personally am more than happy to be a science officer/medical. More along the lines of micro xenobiology. All the possible diseases and viruses (and ways to cure them) on other worlds is fascinating! ;D

I do read sci-fi too and have a number of star trek books (I have to admit to prefering the trek to the wars but both are good, Han Solo is VERY cute!) I am just in a horror phase at the moment. As for what they do to the horses (and some at teh centre have been severely abused, Lovell is gorgious but avoids all human contact) and is Mr Spock would say "It's not logical". I am quite happy to be a Jedi Knight but do consider myself be an excellent star fleet captain, lol. :)

By JediSquirrel on Nov 21, 2011 at 12:22 PM

That's so cool! I mostly prefer reading sci-fi, although I do read other things, but mostly with books with happy endings. :) If you ever need any suggestions on a Star Wars book, I could hopefully give you a few good suggestions. I don't have any pets at the moment as that hasn't been a possibility up until now, but hope that will all change soon. I've read about what they do to horses that are no longer wanted or useful and that's just awful. I'm glad there are organizations to help them. And also with you, Jedi Knight (or Master).

By bikemadlass on Nov 21, 2011 at 3:32 AM

I do like star wars, all star treks, fringe, babylon 5, stargate and most other sci-fi. I also enjoy horror and read a lot of Stephen King. I love kitty pics most as I have two cuties of my own and I support a local horse rescue charity. :) May the force be with you fellow Jedi.

Cool! Nice to meet you to! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who finds memebase confusing. Are you into Star Wars as well as Star Trek, just out of curiosity? I like SW especially, but ST is great, too! Live long and prosper to you, too! :)

Hi. It is nice to meet a fellow sci-fi fan! I also prefer looking at cute animals to the rather confusing memebase. :) Live long and prosper.
